This song- along with many others from nirvana- brings back memories from my trip to Colorado a few spring breaks ago. The trip itself was good and bad, for many reasons. But this song reminds me of the good times I had on that trip. Even though a lot of it sucked, I liked it in a few ways :)

I first heard this song in the film Juno, but this is another song that reminds me of my colorado song. This biggest reason I love this song is because it kind of makes me sad. It makes me think of my childhood; I didn't have any friends. It makes my heart tight because it makes me think of what could have been, how it would have been if I had had friends. My younger years weren't the best, but it brings me back to my childhood and makes me think. There's a lot from my childhood I don't remember, more than most people. But this song brings back memories that I've suppressed.

She and I, though we didn't have much time to spend together before she graduated and left, became instantly close and realized that we have more in common than most.
